A three part series about sublimity. Part of a Zine project by myself and my friend Lena Winkel.
When I thought about the sublime I thought about death and mourning, about the rare sublimity that a dead person has on a funeral, about rituals and traditions that elevate said person to a place that is beyond reach. So I wanted to visualize these rituals and honor the sublimity that we give to it, while at the same time show the theatricality of it and the performative focus.
