Revue XXI | Ils trompent l’oeil de Minsk
Two illustrations about the Belarusian Resistance in Lithuania. The article talks about the complicated situation of a community of Belarusians situated in Vilnius, feeling empowered by community but at the same time tormented by paranoia because of the power of Lukaschenko and Putin even beyond borders. I hoped to give room to both these feelings in my illustrations, but in the end it is a story for me about people creating moments of kinship despite a destructive system.
